Join seniors at the church the second Wednesday of the month for fellowship over breakfast at Oakland Diner. Contact the church office to learn more.

YOUNG ADULT GROUP:
Young adults from FLUMC and Grace UMC gather together for lunch and Bible study one Sunday a month and for a social event one evening a month. To learn more, contact Pastor Alison
Two Fridays a month from 10-12, a group from FLUMC travels to Paterson to help out at CUMAC, a food pantry. We also serve Meals-on-Wheels regularly and have one-time service opportunities as often as we can.
We have two thriving gardens: one by the entrance to the church and one at McBride Field across from Market Basket in town. These gardens both grow fresh vegetables for CUMAC. We are always looking for new volunteers, new ideas, and people who are as passionate about growing healthy food as we are! If you would like to volunteer to work in the community gardens, please contact the church office.
A group of folks from FLUMC who love the outdoors go on regular hikes as a way to connect with each other and with God through nature. Some hikes are on weekdays and some on weekends. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 11:30 a.m. and also on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., the church hosts mindfulness meditation taught by Colleen Galagher. Learn guided practice for awareness, breath, simple movement and guided meditations to help regulate emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, balance the nervous system and create well being.
